Is your child strong in some areas but finds other areas challenging?

Do they find it difficult to ‘sound out’ words when reading?

Do they add or miss out words when reading?

The benefits of an assessment

A dyslexia assessment can be incredibly beneficial for a child as it provides a detailed understanding of their specific learning strengths and weaknesses.

This understanding allows for tailored support and interventions, such as specialised tutoring or accommodations at school, which can help the child keep up with their peers. Knowing that their struggles are due to dyslexia and not a lack of intelligence can significantly boost their confidence and self-esteem.

Additionally, early identification and intervention can prevent long-term academic struggles and support the child's emotional well-being by reducing frustration and anxiety.
